"காயத்ரி" எனும் மகா மந்திரம் நான்கு வேதங்களின் ஆதியாகவும் வேத வேதாந்தங்களின் தாயாகாவும் நிறைந்த பூரணமாய் பரிணமித்திருப்பது.

"காயத்ரி தியாணம்", பிராணாயமத்தோடு இணைத்தே ஞானிகள் வகுத்திருப்பதால் இதன் பாராயணம் தெளிந்த எளிய மூச்சுப்பயிற்ச்சிக்கு உகந்ததாக அமைகிறது. இதணை 108 முறை அல்லது 1008 முறை ஓதி உணர்வதால் சூரியனைப் போன்ற ஞான தேஜஸ் ஆத்மாவுள் நிறைந்து பூரண பரப்பிரும்மத்தின் ஐக்கிய பாவம் உண்டாகிறது. காயத்ரி பிரார்த்னைமனைதயும், உடலையும், ஆத்மாவையும் ஒரே நேர் கோட்டில் இணைந்து. நித்தியமான சந்தியை சாஸ்வதமாய் வழங்குகிறது.

The Gayatri Mantra:

Om Bhur Bhuvah, Svah;
Tat Savitur varenyam bhargo
devasya dhimahi;
Dhiyo yo nah. prachodayat. Om.

The album begins witha prayer after which follow the Prnayam mantra (used for breath control) which opens up our inner most being to receive the power of the sun. Om, chanted tree tiems to welcome this divine power. Followed by Gayatri Mantra chanted 108 times (one rosary of mala). The album ends with an aarthi, thus fulfilling the three stages of bhakti or devotion - visualization. meditation and prayer.

Oh, creater of the universe! We meditate upon thy supreme spiendour. May thy radiant power illuminate our intellects, destroy our sins, and guide us in the right direction!.
